Position Summary:
Currituck County Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve their academic potential while fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
Differentiation:
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
Assessment:
Utilize a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student success.
Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing professional learning and participate in school initiatives.
Community Involvement:
Foster relationships with the community to enhance educational opportunities for students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Valid North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility for licensure). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching strategies.
