Duties Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curricula tailored to various age groups and learning styles, ensuring alignment with educational standards and regulations. Lead engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate physical activities that promote cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, coordination, and motor skills development. Adapt lessons to accommodate students with special needs, including those with learning, emotional other developmental challenges, ensuring all students can participate fully. Manage behavior through effective behavior management strategies while fostering a positive and motivating environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship. Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and assessment strategies to support student performance data analysis and continuous improvement. Implement a robust health education program in line with the health education curriculum. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and achievements in physical education classes. Proven teaching experience in physical education or related fields within elementary, middle and high school. Demonstrated ability to work with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt instruction accordingly. Experience implementing IT-integrated lessons using Learning Management Systems and other educational technology tools.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and differentiated instruction methods.

Educational Requirenents:
Bachelor of Education, Masters preferred, with a focus in physical education Teaching license or Teaching Certification Completion of NYS Teacher certification program NYS Special Education certificationWorkshops:
