P.E. INSTRUCTOR

(Part-Time) The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is seeking a part-time Physical Education instructor. OSSM is an academic emphasis, 2-year, residential high school located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OSSM consistently ranks as one of the top 10 high schools in the United States (currently ranked 11th by Niche.com and 2nd by Wall Street 24/7). General Characteristics and Qualifications 1. Possesses the professionalism, maturity, excellence, and teamwork that align with the OSSM mission and values. 2. Possesses an enthusiastic and inspiring teaching approach with a student-centered mindset. 3. A bachelor's degree in education; First Aid/CPR certification preferred; personal trainer certification preferred 4. Teaching or coaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level preferred 5. Possesses strong leadership, communication skills, and organizational skills. 6. Available to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Salary 1. Compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour. Regular work hours are Monday through Thursday, from 3:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 2.
