Enrichment Teacher Juniper Learning - Sacramento Region Part-Time | 1st - 9th Grade |Movement/Physical Education Instructor About Juniper Learning Juniper Learning is a nature-based, whole-child educational enrichment program serving homeschool and hybrid learners in the Sacramento region. Our program blends inspiration from Waldorf, Montessori, and STEAM approaches to create meaningful, relationship-centered learning experiences for students TK-12th grade. Classes are capped at 18 students and held Monday-Thursday 10:00am-2:30pm. At Juniper, we believe learning should feel connected, creative, hands-on, and deeply human. We value curiosity, emotional safety, outdoor exploration, artistic expression, and strong relationships. As we prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year, we are seeking warm, collaborative, and adaptable educators to join our growing community. Teachers at Juniper help create environments where students feel safe, supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences Support whole-child development through creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning Collaborate with fellow teachers and directors to support program consistency and community culture Maintain clear communication with families through newsletters and updates Support Juniper community events, showcases, and seasonal celebrations Uphold Juniper's values of kindness, curiosity, responsibility, and connection We value educators who: Bring warmth, steadiness, and enthusiasm to their work Are reflective, flexible, and growth-oriented Understand the importance of emotional safety alongside strong expectations Enjoy working collaboratively within a community-centered environment Believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and joyful.
