Job Description
George Washington Academy is looking to hire a Part-Time (Hourly) 6th-7th Grade PE Teacher/Motor Specialist and structured recess supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year. Join our team and work for a school with high standards and an exceptional track record for providing high-quality education. Pay ranges from $20.92 to $26.18 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for someone with a desire to provide direct physical instruction, including teaching knowledge and skills in physical fitness and health education. The teacher will be responsible for the physical education of assigned students and teaching the course of study prescribed by the Utah state standards. The part-time PE Teacher/Motor Specialist will also oversee the individual needs of students who have 504s or behavior plans that require daily sensory breaks involving motor activities. Coordinate structured physical activities for K-5th grade recesses. An approved BCI background check is required. Applicants will need to provide 3 letters of recommendation.
