Position overview The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for selling products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Rep will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. As well, this position will be responsible for opening new reseller accounts and develop existing accounts by placing outbound sales calls and addressing inbound calls. This position will be based in St. George, UT or Salt Lake City, UT and is full time Monday - Friday during business hours. A day on the job may include Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base Collaborate with Sales Supervisor and Account Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers where appropriate Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects Ensure follow-up be passing leads to Account Managers with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales Overcome objections of prospective customers Emphasize product features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales orders Coordinate customer training as necessary Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues Attend periodic sales training where applicable Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position Physical requirements Sit up to 8 hours per day This job may be for you if you have High school diploma or equivalent Prior sales experience Ability to qualify, develop, build and manage sales opportunities Strong customer service skills Able to establish and maintain customer relations Excel at verbal and written communication Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines Strong computer skills are required including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)
