June 2, 2026, 3:00 p.m. Medical, Dental, Vision, WA State Retirement, 403(b), Sick Leave, Personal Days, WA State Family Leave Required Qualifications Valid Washington State teaching certificate Demonstrate knowledge and strong pedagogical skill to design lessons and teach physical education to intermediate/middle school students Demonstrate the ability to implement effective formative and summative assessment practices that promote student engagement and learning growth Demonstrate the ability to relate positively and productively with a variety of students, staff, and parents Demonstrate the ability to articulate and implement teaching practices that develop the social and emotional intelligence of high school students Demonstrate the ability to productively collaborate with colleagues in a Professional Learning Community environment Preferred Qualifications Bilingual ability English/ Spanish Ability to be a varsity head coach Previous experience teaching physical education Ability to articulate and implement effective practices to assist second-language learners and Special Education students Commitment to participate in extracurricular activities, including coaching athletics or advising clubs Knowledge of working within an extended period classroom Personal Attributes Ability to inspire and motivate students High moral and ethical standards High expectations for self and others Team player and highly collaborativeINTERNAL APPLICANTS
