Physical Education Teacher

Provide an innovative approach to instruction in physical education for students in Grades K-5 with multi-abilities, at various stages of physical development, and with varying skills.

Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. Degree Qualified for a Standard Teaching Certificate with endorsements in K-12 physical education and health as issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board Demonstrated ability to motivate, work effectively with, and relate to elementary school students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs Successful teaching/student teaching experience in physical education at the elementary school level Knowledge/Experience in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Self-directed, self-motivated, willing to go above and beyond, and goal-oriented highly desirable Team oriented; history of professional growth; demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of personalities, settings, teaching staff, and administrators Experience and/or training in performance standards and familiarity with standards-based education

Salary:

District Salary Schedule (2025-2026 Base = $54,000.00)

Employment Term:

Full-time - 185-day contract

Beginning Date:

2026-2027 reporting date for staff - August 13, 2026 (New staff will have orientation before this date)
