Schedule Information:

PHY 110, Tues & Thurs, 2:00 - 4:20pm; PHY 100, Tues & Thurs, 9:30 - 10:45am. Both classes will meet from January 19 to May 21, 2027.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in physics or appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate-level coursework in appropriate physics and/or engineering courses; or master's degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in graduate-level physics.

Experience Requirements:

Previous experience teaching algebra-based physics at the college level, use of microcomputer-based labs and ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are preferred qualifications. The teaching requirement may be fulfilled through a program of supervised teaching as a graduate student.

Starting Pay Rate :

Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
