A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description
- Ensure full implementation of all aspects of Family Guidance Center Early learning system, policies/procedures, and tools, with the goal of supporting all children to achieve School Readiness Goals.
- Supervise center staff (teachers, assistant teachers, program aides, and cooks)
- Provide assistance to teaching staff to successfully fulfill all aspects of their role, including but not limited to effective practices in the following: o CLASS™ Teacher-Child Interactions o Learning Environments o Curriculum o Child Assessment o Meeting All Children's Needs o Working with Families o Professional Growth and Collaboration o Work with teachers to implement program curriculum with fidelity.
Requirements:
Associate degree with at least 2 years of managerial experience OR a bachelor's degree in any field related to children or business (per Licensing requirements). Bachelor's degree in early education preferred. Previous experience teaching in an early childhood setting; experience with supervision, management or coaching preferred. Experience managing an infant/toddler or preschool program. Experience with collaborations and community partnerships (if applicable) Experience in Fiscal management/budget preparations (if applicable) Obtain Serv Safe Certification. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions. Obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Benefits
