A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Support the Team. Create Great Experiences for Kids. The Center Services Manager is a hands-on leader who helps bring the FirstSteps center experience to life (This is not a BCBA caseload position) You'll oversee group activities, enrichment and summer programs, center routines, and RBT support , while helping create an organized, engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. This is a great fit for someone who loves working with children and teams, enjoys being in the middle of the action, and is ready to take on more leadership responsibility. This is a center-based leadership and program support role.
You will:
Lead and support engaging group activities and center-based programming (includes seasonal summer program) Support RBTs and Instructors with day-to-day implementation and problem-solving Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to Instructors and Lead Instructors Help coordinate the daily center schedule and keep programming running smoothly Support breaks, transitions, room assignments, and center flow Collaborate with Program Directors and center leadership to support high-quality services What We're Looking For Strong performance in a Behavior Technician or similar role Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or BCaBA Experience working with children and supporting a team Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Someone who is comfortable taking initiative and solving problems in a busy environment A genuine passion for creating positive experiences for children and families Flexibility to support occasional evening, weekend, summer, or community programs Why FirstSteps? Salary:
