You should be comfortable getting on the floor with toddlers, enthusiastically leading a movement activity, redirecting a distracted preschooler, coaching a staff member through a difficult class, and then helping prepare the equipment needed for the next day's programs. We are looking for someone who brings energy, warmth, initiative, organization, and infectious positivity to their work and who takes pride in creating an exceptional experience for both children and families. Advanced competitive athletic experience is not required. For this role, your ability to understand children, build strong programming, lead engaging classes, and develop other instructors is more important than your personal athletic background. Schedule This is initially a part-time position of approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the opportunity for increased hours and responsibility as L.A. Sports World continues to grow. LASW is a mobile program, so this is primarily a field-based position rather than a traditional office role. Candidates should have flexibility for a combination of weekday mornings and afternoons, with some evening and weekend availability as programming requires. Compensation $28-$35 per hour, based on relevant experience. There is significant opportunity for this position to grow into a larger program management and leadership role as L.A.
