A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and management of our organization. You will work closely with the Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of daily activities and provide guidance to staff members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and childcare to make a positive impact on the lives of students.Responsibilities:
- Assist the Supervisor in overseeing daily operations and managing staff members
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum, plan school events
- Support classroom activities, including providing instruction and guidance to students
- Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Implement effective classroom management techniques
- Support behavior management strategies
- Assist in organizing and participating in special events or field trips
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
Requirements:
- Associate degree in ECE with 24 unites ECE + six units management & two administration supervision units or Site supervisor permit or Director permit.
- Previous experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education
- Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment and plan school events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and situations
