Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academy Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in school experience, teaching, and childhood development, with proven skills in team leadership and staff supervision. As Academy Director, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring educational compliance, fostering family connections, and driving enrollment growth. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to support our diverse community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational environment and promote a nurturing space for young learners. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and management of the academy's daily operations, ensuring a high standard of educational quality and compliance with regulations. Supervise and support school staff, including teachers and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives. Manage enrollment processes to promote growth and maintain a welcoming environment for families. Build strong relationships with families to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction with the center's programs. Ensure adherence to all educational regulations and compliance standards related to early childhood education. Develop and implement curriculum plans that support childhood development principles and best practices. Oversee billing processes and manage administrative tasks related to enrollment and family communication. Promote a bilingual environment to enhance communication with diverse families and support language development among children. Qualifications Proven experience working in early childhood education settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Prior experience in teaching roles complemented by leadership responsibilities is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead teams effectively within an educational environment. Knowledge of educational compliance standards, licensing requirements, and regulations governing early childhood programs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills for engaging with staff, families, and community partners. Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to support our diverse community needs. Passion for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and educational environment for young children.
