A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

As a Director, you will: Be a leader! Manages school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers. Be an expert! Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership within the surrounding community. Be an innovator! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day in an educational, caring, and safe environment. Be a team player! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor's degree required in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements. Must have 2 years of Center Director experience in a licensed child care facility Must have the Florida Director Credential Florida Background Screening Notice Employment with this school is contingent upon successful completion of Florida's required background screening. Pay:

$57,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
