Job Description

Parks Dermatology Center provides premier quality care in a safe, confidential, and friendly environment. Join an award-winning team, voted Best Dermatology Group in Volusia County for the last several years. With a team of over 85 employees across eight offices in Volusia and Flagler Counties, we specialize in skin cancer detection and removal while delivering exceptional aesthetic results through advanced, state-of-the-art techniques. We are currently seeking a Patient Service Representative with strong customer service and organizational skills to join our team in the Ormond Beach and Palm Coast offices. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of professionals for a highly regarded dermatology practice that always puts patients first.

Compensation/Benefits:

Duties to include:

Accurately enter patient data from intake forms and schedule appointments Create a welcoming environment and provide information about office procedures and services Scan and upload insurance cards and driver's licenses into the EMR and practice management systems Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and indexing documents into patient records Process requests for release of medical records in a timely and confidential manner Collect co-pays, deductibles, and deposits from patients Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system Communicate effectively and courteously with patients and all levels of staff Support clinical and administrative teams as needed Travel within Volusia and Flagler counties as required Qualifications include: Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance verification processes Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills Team player with a professional and positive attitude Proficient with the computer, EMR and data entry skills; able to learn new systems quickly Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure in a busy medical setting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Greeting patients warmly and professionally

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
