Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director with CDA (Child Development Associate) or VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) credentials, along with a valid Director certification, to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Lead curriculum development initiatives that align with early childhood standards and promote engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences Oversee daily school operations, ensuring adherence to educational policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements Facilitate professional development sessions for staff to enhance instructional practices and classroom management skills Manage budgets effectively, including managing resources and overseeing financial planning for educational programs Supervise school staff, including teachers and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment Develop and implement strategic plans to improve program quality, enrollment growth, and community engagement Conduct faculty evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in teaching excellence Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and special education law Lead fundraising efforts to support program enhancements and community outreach initiatives Represent the school at community events, public speaking engagements, and stakeholder meetings Qualifications Valid CDA or VPK credential along with a current Director certification required; additional certifications in early childhood education preferred Proven experience in school administrative leadership within K-12 or early childhood settings Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational compliance Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator or school director Extensive supervisory experience with school staff supervision and personnel management in education environments Knowledge of special education law and childhood development principles Skilled in strategic planning, fundraising, public speaking, and team leadership Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Passionate about working with students of diverse backgrounds and fostering inclusive learning environments Join us as we empower educators to inspire young minds!
