PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
Noah's Ark Learning Center A Ministry of Pathway Church
POSITION SUMMARY
The Preschool Director serves as the chief operating leader of Noah's Ark Learning Center (NALC), a ministry of Pathway Church. The Director provides spiritual, educational, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure the preschool fulfills its mission while maintaining excellence in childcare, staff leadership, family engagement, child safety, and licensing compliance. The Director reports to the Noah's Ark School Board and works in partnership with the Church Elders to support the ministry's long-term health and effectiveness.

SPIRITUAL QUALIFICATIONS
The Director must: Be a born-again follower of Jesus Christ and a partner in good standing of Pathway Church. Demonstrate Christian maturity, integrity, servant leadership, and a growing relationship with Christ. Support the Statement of Faith, mission, and philosophy of Pathway Church. Model biblical character and a commitment to discipleship.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Meet all Idaho childcare licensing requirements. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in preschool, childcare, education, or related leadership roles.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Three or more years of leadership experience in a preschool, childcare center, private school, or similar environment. Experience with budgeting, enrollment management, personnel supervision, and licensing compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Spiritual Leadership Advance the mission, vision, and values of Pathway Church and Noah's Ark Learning Center. Foster a Christ-centered culture among staff, children, and families. Serve as a spiritual leader and representative of the ministry. Personnel Leadership Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop preschool staff. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism and servant leadership. Ensure appropriate staffing and professional development. Operations, Safety, and Compliance Maintain compliance with all licensing, safety, and regulatory requirements. Oversee personnel and training records, inspections, and other required documentation. Ensure child protection policies, emergency procedures, and mandatory reporting requirements are followed. Address incidents, complaints, and operational concerns in a timely manner. Educational Leadership Oversee curriculum implementation and classroom quality. Support teachers in providing developmentally appropriate instruction and care. Promote continuous improvement in educational programming. Family and Community Relations Build positive relationships with families. Address parent concerns professionally and promptly. Lead enrollment, outreach, and community engagement efforts. Administrative and Financial Management Develop and manage the preschool budget in cooperation with the Noah's Ark Learning Center School Board. Oversee enrollment, tuition collection, purchasing, and operational expenses. Provide regular reports to the Noah's Ark Learning Center School Board & Pathway Church regarding finances, enrollment, staffing, and licensing compliance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Director must be able to move throughout classrooms and playgrounds, lift up to 40 pounds, supervise children as needed, and respond appropriately during emergencies.
MINISTRY COMMITMENT
Because Noah's Ark Learning Center is a ministry of Pathway Church, the Preschool Director serves in a ministry leadership role and is expected to faithfully support and advance the mission, doctrine, values, and ministry philosophy of the church.
