A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

General Description :
The Director of Continuing Education and Career Center Department is responsible for the overall administration of Adult Education and College and Career Readiness Programming. This includes providing strategic direction to the department that requires researching, evaluating, and applying for a variety of growth opportunities, grant writing and oversight, outreach and relationship development with partners in the community including funders, colleagues, and participants. The Director coordinates educational and employment support services for program participants and enhances their secondary and post-secondary access or training opportunities and successful enrollment in post-secondary education programs appropriate with stated educational or career goals Benefits First 12 months 2 weeks employees accrue 2 weeks of vacation After 13 months, you begin to accrue 3 weeks of vacation 1 hour paid lunch break 12 Paid Holidays Other benefits medical Insurance, In lieu of medical insurance, VOC will provide the lowest cost contributed by the agency towards childcare reimbursement or other benefit products such as AFLAC products & Guardian Life insurance. Retirement planavailable through Mutual of America, VOC will contribute 2% of your gross pay. If the employee wishes to contribute through employee deductions, he/she may contribute a minimum of 2% of their pay and the agency will add another 1%.
