A Preschool or Childcare Director manages and directs programs for very young children. Supervises child care workers and pre-school teachers. Proposes policies, program fees and budgets for approval by a program board or administrative agency or implements policies of a national organization. Meets with parents and staff to discuss the development, learning and behavior of children in the program or center. Orders supplies and monitors maintenance and cleaning at a facility. Ensures that the program or center meets state and federal guidelines.

Job Description

Sharp Funeral Homes is seeking a compassionate, professional, and motivated Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our growing team. We are a family-owned funeral home with multiple locations serving Genesee County and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to every family while honoring the dignity of those entrusted to us. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence, teamwork, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Embalm and prepare deceased individuals with the highest level of care and professionalism. Assist with transfers, and after-hours on-call responsibilities. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other licensed staff. Qualifications Current Michigan Funeral Director and Embalmer License (or ability to obtain reciprocity). Strong embalming and restorative art skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
