Opening Director Exploring Minds Academy - Creekside | Parkville, MO Exploring Minds Academy Creekside is seeking an experienced Opening Director to lead the daily operations of our brand new early childhood center. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently support staff, families, licensing compliance, and day-to-day center operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to be the leader that creates growth and quality in early education. The starting salary is $42000, with compensation to be reviewed as the business grows and the position's responsibilities evolve.

Qualifications Required:

Previous child care management experience for this role

Preferred:

currently approved by Missouri DESE to direct a center licensed for 61-99 children Candidates approved for the next lower director level may be considered if they are willing and eligible to obtain approval for the 61-99 child capacity level Candidates without prior child care management experience may be considered for an Assistant Director position Strong knowledge of Missouri child care licensing requirements Experience supervising and supporting early childhood staff Dependable, organized, professional, and confident handling daily operations Responsibilities Open the center and ensure classrooms are staffed and ready for the day Monitor ratios, staffing, classroom coverage, and daily operations Maintain licensing, health, safety, and documentation compliance Lead, coach, and support teachers and staff Step into classrooms as needed as growth creates openings for new teachers Build positive relationships with children and families Assist with enrollment, tours, family communication, and center operations Work closely with ownership and the Exploring Minds Academy leadership team We're looking for a strong early childhood leader who can create structure, support our team, and help Creekside continue to grow.

Pay:

$42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
