The Preschool Director oversees the daily operations, educational quality, staff performance, and regulatory compliance of a preschool program serving children ages 2-5. This leadership role ensures that the school provides a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. The Director manages staff, supports curriculum implementation, maintains communication with families, and ensures the program meets all licensing and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Program & Operations Management Oversee daily preschool operations and ensure smooth classroom routines. Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and organizational policies. Support curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment practices. Ensure classrooms are organized, well‑maintained, and equipped with appropriate materials. Manage enrollment, attendance, records, and administrative documentation. Staff Leadership & Development Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teachers and support staff. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development. Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management. Foster a positive, collaborative team culture. Family & Community Engagement Build strong relationships with families through clear, consistent communication. Conduct tours, orientations, and family meetings as needed. Address parent concerns promptly and professionally. Support community partnerships and school events. Child Development & School Culture Promote developmentally appropriate practices and positive behavior support. Ensure classrooms reflect inclusive, culturally responsive environments. Monitor child progress and support teachers in documentation and communication. Maintain a warm, welcoming, child‑centered school atmosphere. Qualifications Strong background in Early Childhood Education . Experience as a Preschool Director. Knowledge of child development, curriculum, and classroom management. Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with staff, families, and children.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
