As the cornerstone of our program, you will oversee daily operations, foster a positive community atmosphere, and ensure compliance with all safety and educational standards. Your leadership will inspire staff, motivate students, and build strong relationships with families, creating a vibrant hub of learning and growth. Duties Lead the daily operations of the Before and After School Program, ensuring smooth transitions and effective program delivery from start to finish Supervise and support staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth Develop and implement engaging curriculum activities that promote social-emotional development, creativity, and academic success Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety drills, and ensuring proper supervision at all times Build strong relationships with students' families through regular communication, updates, and addressing concerns promptly Oversee enrollment processes, attendance tracking, and compliance with licensing regulations Coordinate with school administrators, community partners, and vendors to enhance program offerings and resources Manage program budgets, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources Monitor program quality through ongoing evaluations and implement improvements based on feedback Ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures, child protection policies, and program standards Qualifications Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable Proven experience working with children in educational or recreational settings Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules, records, and compliance documentation Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners Knowledge of safety standards related to youth programs and familiarity with licensing requirements Experience in university settings or working within educational institutions is a plus Passion for fostering positive youth development through innovative programming Join us as we create a vibrant after-school environment where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
