Description St. John's Christian Daycare & Preschool St. John's Christian Daycare & Preschool is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and faith-centered Center Director to lead our ministry of early childhood education. What You'll Do As Center Director, you will provide leadership for all aspects of our preschool and childcare program by: Leading and supporting a team of dedicated educators.
Creating a warm, welcoming, Christ-centered environment.
Overseeing daily operations and program quality.
Ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania DHS regulations and Keystone STARS standards.
Building meaningful relationships with children, families, staff, and church leadership.
Supporting curriculum implementation and continuous quality improvement.
Coordinating staffing, scheduling, enrollment, and center operations.
Managing budgets, records, supplies, and administrative responsibilities.
Conducting staff coaching, observations, and annual evaluations.
Promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, respect, and servant leadership. Qualifications Applicants must meet Pennsylvania DHS Director qualifications.
Preferred qualifications include:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Human Services, or a related field.
Minimum of 30 ECE credits.
Experience in an early childhood setting.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of DHS regulations and Keystone STARS.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate others and solve problems collaboratively.
