Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education center with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Manage daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards. Lead and support a team of teachers and caregivers, promoting professional development and classroom excellence. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support childhood development, including infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and special education needs. Maintain open communication with parents, addressing concerns, providing updates on children's progress, and fostering positive relationships. Ensure all staff are trained in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, mandated reporting laws, and behavior management techniques. Oversee classroom management to create engaging learning environments that promote social-emotional growth and developmental milestones. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to uphold health standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness. Facilitate staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to maintain a motivated team dedicated to excellence in childcare. Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prior daycare center experience or similar childcare management roles is essential. Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development instruction. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related health & safety training preferred.
