C.A.R.E.S.
® curriculum focuses on developing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. We are opening a brand new school in Fulshear and are looking for a School Director to lead this location through opening and beyond. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who is driven, organized, and ready to build a strong team, culture, and enrollment from day one. You will partner closely with ownership and leadership to open, grow, and lead a school that becomes a trusted part of the Fulshear community. What You'll Be Responsible For Leadership & Team Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of educators and leaders Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable to performance and culture standards Create a positive, professional, and engaging work environment Enrollment & Family Experience Drive enrollment growth and lead the school to full capacity Manage all inquiries, tours, and follow-up systems with strong conversion results Build meaningful relationships with families and ensure consistent communication Create a welcoming experience from first tour through long-term retention Operations & Compliance Oversee daily school operations including staffing, scheduling, and classroom management Ensure full compliance with Texas licensing standards and company expectations Maintain accurate records for staff, students, and operations Manage Procare systems, billing, and reporting Financial & Business Performance Manage payroll, labor, and budget to meet financial goals Monitor key performance indicators including enrollment, labor %, and retention Partner with leadership to drive profitability and long-term growth Program Quality & Brand Standards Ensure curriculum is implemented with consistency and quality Maintain classroom standards, organization, and learning environments Lead quality assurance efforts across all areas of the school Community & Marketing Build strong community relationships and partnerships Support marketing efforts through events, outreach, and social presence Position the school as a trusted, premium early learning option in Fulshear What We Offer Competitive salary + performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holiday pay Tuition discounts for children Ongoing professional development and leadership growth Opportunity for advancement within a growing organization A brand-new, well-equipped school environment Qualifications 3-5+ years of School Director experience in a licensed childcare center Proven ability to lead teams, drive enrollment, and manage operations Strong knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards and licensing requirements Experience with budgeting, payroll, and performance management Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Comfortable with technology, including Procare and Microsoft Office Texas Director Credential required Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Each Children's Lighthouse school is independently owned and operated.
