Job Description
Jubilee Shores Weeschool in Fairhope, AL, is seeking caring, dependable, and passionate Early Childhood Educators and Substitute Teachers to join our team! Our teachers create a safe, nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow. We believe strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of early learning. Through patience, encouragement, meaningful interactions, and age-appropriate activities, our educators support each child'ssocial, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development while helping prepare them for their next stage of learning. Our educators play an important role in creating a positive and engaging experience for every child. Daily Classroom Responsibilities Follow the daily classroom schedule and maintain consistent routines. Lead and participate in activities such as circle time, music, storytelling, interactive play, and hands-on learning. Supervise children during meals, snacks, nap time, outdoor play, free play, and transitions. Provide attentive and age-appropriate diapering and personal care as needed. Encourage positive interactions and help children learn to navigate and resolve minor conflicts. Support each child's social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth. Use a variety of teaching methods to make learning fun, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate. Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of every child at all times. Document each child's daily activities and experiences using our childcare management app. Communicate regularly and positively with parents about their child's day and development. Work cooperatively with coteachers and other Weeschool staff. Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and sanitary classroom environment.
