Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to infant exploration and comfort Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies Support individual developmental needs by observing behaviors and adjusting activities accordingly Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education standards Adhere to mandated reporting laws and document any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management Requirements Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and mandated reporting laws is required or obtainable upon hire Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Demonstrated classroom management skills in early childhood education environments Passion for nurturing infants' growth through engaging activities and compassionate care This paid position is ideal for dedicated individuals eager to foster early childhood development while building rewarding relationships with children and families.
