Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for supervising children, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.Duties:
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Encourage social interaction and promote positive behavior
- Assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
