Full Job Description Description:
A childcare worker provides safe, loving, and dependable care for children that supports families and the ministry of the church while parents attend church activities.Requirements:
Specific Responsibilities Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for infants through 5th grade. Supervise children and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Engage children in age-appropriate play, activities, books, and music. Assist with basic needs such as feeding and diapering as needed. Comfort and encourage children as needed. Follow all church childcare, safety, security, and emergency procedures. Communicate appropriately with parents, staff, and other childcare workers. Keep childcare rooms and supplies clean and organized. Report injuries, safety concerns, or other significant incidents to the childcare coordinator. Attend required training and follow established policies and procedures.
