Job Description

KidTowne 72 is looking for a teacher in the afternoons & weekends! We are a flexible childcare facility with a fun and caring staff! If you'd like to start a career in childcare, we would love to have you as a part of our team!
Our hours of operation:
Monday
  • Thursday, 5am
  • 10pm Friday, 5am
  • 12am Saturday, 6am
  • 12am Sunday, 8am
  • 8pm
Job Description:
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to) Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans (using Alabama Early Learning Guidelines) and daily classroom schedule in accordance with KidTowne Theme Base Curriculum Responsible for overall supervision and daily function of classroom of children Ensure a safe and consistent child development environment. Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence Provide verbal recognition to all children while providing clear and consistent expectations for behavior Observe rules and regulations of not only KidTowne, but the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children Maintain overall appearance (adhere to dress code at all times) Accept responsibility for maintaining necessary maintenance and housekeeping duties as it relates to the classroom, playground, or any common areas Assist in any other areas deemed necessary by administration.
Hourly Rate:
$13.00-15.00 an Hour Experience Preferred, But Not Required. On the job training is offered!
