We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Afternoon Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team, dedicated to nurturing children aged 2 to 6 years old during afternoon hours. Duties Supervise and care for children aged 2 to 6 during afternoon hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning, arts and crafts, and sensory experiences Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, independence, and social skills among children Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards in compliance with childcare regulations Support children's emotional needs through nurturing interactions, guidance, and encouragement Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that align with developmental milestones and individual needs Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in pediatric first aid, CPR, and basic childcare safety procedures is required or will be provided upon hire Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members Previous experience in nannying or babysitting young children can be valuable but must be complemented by formal childcare experience Join us as an Afternoon Infant Teacher if you're passionate about fostering a joyful learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired.
