Full-Time Lead Preschool Teacher (Monday-Friday) Busy Minds Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! If you have a passion for working with preschool-aged children and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can learn, grow, and thrive, we'd love to meet you. Position Details Full-time Monday through Friday No weekends Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where preschool children feel supported and encouraged. Serve as the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, lessons, and learning experiences. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Follow the center's curriculum and daily schedule while adapting activities to meet the individual needs and interests of children. Provide positive guidance and age-appropriate classroom management to encourage cooperation, independence, and respectful behavior. Build strong, positive relationships with children and help them develop confidence and self-help skills. Maintain consistent classroom routines, including meals, snacks, rest time, transitions, toileting, and outdoor play. Supervise children closely at all times and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom, including learning centers, play areas, and materials. Complete required classroom documentation, lesson plans, observations, and developmental records as needed. Communicate professionally and consistently with parents regarding their child's day, development, progress, and any concerns. Work collaboratively with other teachers and center staff to provide consistent, high-quality care and education. Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and Busy Minds Academy policies and procedures. Take initiative in maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting the overall success of the program. Qualifications Genuine love for working with preschool-aged children and supporting their early development. Previous experience working in a preschool, childcare, or early childhood education setting preferred. Lead teaching or classroom leadership experience preferred. Dependable, patient, organized, and caring with a positive attitude. Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. Ability to create and implement age-appropriate learning activities. Ability to take initiative, work independently, and effectively lead a classroom. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Meet all annual professional development requirements required by state licensing. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Comfortable sitting, kneeling, standing, and working on the floor for extended periods. Reliable transportation to Busy Minds Academy.
