Job Description
The Goddard School in Cave Creek, is an early childhood education school and offers a renowned program with a Piaget (play-based learning) foundation. The focus of our program is to provide a life-long love of learning. Due to our growing enrollment, we are in need of highly qualified childhood educator to work a closing 9am-6pm shift. This teacher will also be able to use their creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans, brought to life in a fun and imaginative way. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
All teachers work together on the following: ~ Developing and implementing lesson plans ~ Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom ~ Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills ~ Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow faculty ~ Meeting Goddard Quality Assurance and Arizona state requirements ~ Resource Teachers will assist in various classroomsJOB REQUIREMENTS
Teacher Qualifications- Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler or Preschool)
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
