Duties Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills tailored for toddlers Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports child welfare and developmental milestones Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies, fostering independence and social skills among children Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and promote collaborative support for each child's growth Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff to ensure consistent implementation of educational standards and classroom management techniques Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child development progress and incidents Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special needs or developmental delays Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged children Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within an early childhood education context Knowledge of childhood development principles, including behavior management techniques and child welfare practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education Demonstrated ability to lead a classroom confidently while fostering a positive learning environment Experience teaching physical education or implementing literacy education programs is desirable Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher where your dedication will shape young minds during their most critical developmental years.
