Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to ensure their safety and engagement Support lead teachers with lesson setup, classroom organization, and educational activities focused on childhood development and early learning standards Provide attentive child supervision while maintaining a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and independence Help implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns in a professional manner Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws when necessary Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexibly across multiple classrooms as needed in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with early childhood education practices, toddler care, infant care, and daycare center operations This position is ideal for passionate caregivers eager to support young children's growth while gaining diverse classroom experience.
