Conduct child development assessments to tailor instruction to individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Maintain accurate records of student activities, standardized testing results, and classroom observations in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Lead engaging lessons that incorporate childhood development principles, fostering cognitive, motor, and social skills. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols while promoting health and wellness practices within the classroom. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. Demonstrated success in classroom management, behavior management, and lesson planning for young children. Knowledge of early childhood education standards, child development instruction techniques, and preschool teaching methodologies. Experience integrating special education strategies or working with children requiring early intervention services is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Proven ability to create inclusive learning environments that support diverse learners' needs. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are advantageous. Pay:
