A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

Qualifications:
Experience teaching early childhood education, preferably Pre-K Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework, CDA, or related education is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills. Patient, dependable, positive, and compassionate. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passion for helping young children learn, grow, and prepare for kindergarten. Must meet all applicable childcare licensing and background-check requirements. Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing timely feedback and support. Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and student well-being. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and development.
