Part-Time Preschool Teacher We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. The Preschool Teacher will support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development through age-appropriate activities, play, classroom routines, and positive interactions while helping prepare children for kindergarten. Responsibilities Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment. Lead developmentally appropriate learning activities, including stories, art, music, educational play, and hands-on experiences. Introduce and reinforce early learning concepts such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic pre-reading and math skills. Encourage positive social interactions, independence, communication, and problem-solving skills. Guide children through classroom routines and transitions. Provide positive behavior guidance and help children learn appropriate ways to express emotions and resolve conflicts. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play. Observe and document children's development and progress. Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's day and development. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. Maintain active supervision and ensure children's health and safety at all times. Follow center policies and applicable childcare licensing requirements. Qualifications &

• Skills

• Previous preschool or childcare experience preferred. Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate preschool practices. Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Patient, dependable, friendly, and professional. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage a preschool classroom using positive guidance techniques. Creative and enthusiastic about working with young children.

Pay:

$15.15 - $15.35 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
