In this role, you will support the development, safety, and well-being of children in our care by creating a nurturing and engaging environment. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and happiness at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early learning standards Support children with their personal needs, including diapering, feeding, and nap routines in a caring manner Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to create inclusive activities tailored to children's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is supported Classroom management skills and experience supervising toddlers or infants are essential Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members This position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, compassionate, and eager to contribute positively to children's early learning journeys.
