Job Description
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Teacher Assistant (TA) to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a team environment, and is willing to support classrooms throughout the day. Schedule Monday-Friday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Hours may be flexible for the right candidate.) Responsibilities Provide teacher coverage for 10-minute breaks and lunch breaks Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and daily routines Support children's learning, play, and supervision Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Pick up school-age children from a nearby elementary school (school vehicle or approved transportation procedures provided, mileage paid) Assist wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications Previous experience working in a licensed child care center is preferred Passion for working with young children Positive attitude, dependable, and a strong team player Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and adapt to different classrooms Must be eligible to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications min. of 12 ECE units CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Background clearance and all licensing requirements must be met What We Offer Supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunity to work with children of different age groups Consistent weekday schedule Professional growth opportunities If you are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy supporting both teachers and children, we'd love to hear from you!
