Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting early childhood education.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
  • Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
  • Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and interests
  • Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and inclusive classroom community
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians on their development
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other necessary documentation
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to provide a nurturing environment for young children
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques that encourage positive social interactions
Skills:
  • Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles
  • Proficiency in math concepts for early learners
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
  • Knowledge of literacy education for preschool-aged children
