Duties Assist with supervising children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure their safety and well-being Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate effectively with children to encourage positive behavior and social skills Collaborate with lead teachers to observe and document each child's progress and needs Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws for child protection Engage with parents by providing updates on their child's daily activities and developmental milestones Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is highly preferred Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs Strong classroom management skills to foster a safe and inclusive environment Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with child protection regulations Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is advantageous Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm while maintaining professionalism This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support early childhood development in a dynamic daycare setting.
