We're looking for a warm, dedicated and creative toddler teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about supporting young children growth, fostering curiosity and building a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that all children deserve to learn and grow at their own pace in a nurturing, respectful and structured environment which offers plenty of time for free play and choice. We facilitate learning through play, hands on messy fun, music, storytelling and kindness. We have an excellent teacher child ratio which give teachers the time to foster each child's social, emotional and cognitive development. In our toddler classroom we stive for a six to one child teacher ratio and use primary care groups to ensure our little ones are receiving the attention they deserve. Bert and Ernie's is a family and many of our staff have been with us for many years, some over 20 years! We are looking for a teacher who not only enjoys teaching but also enjoys learning and growing themselves. Must have at least 12 units in ECE and 6 months experience teaching in a licensed facility. CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to lift 25-30 lbs and actively participate in floor play with a positive caring attitude.
