About the Role Team 360 Staffing is seeking a reliable Woodshop Worker for one of our clients. This position is responsible for cutting, shaping, sanding, and assembling wood components used in the manufacturing of concrete floating dock systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable using woodworking equipment, hand tools, and power tools in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate woodworking equipment, including saws, sanders, boring machines, and shaping equipment. Select and install saw blades, cutter heads, and boring bits as needed. Cut, shape, smooth, sand, and fabricate wood components according to specifications. Drill holes, cut grooves, slots, tenons, and mortises in wood materials. Verify measurements and finished parts using a tape measure and other measuring tools. Assemble fabricated wood components following shop drawings and blueprints. Perform work according to quality standards and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Operate hand and power tools safely. Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 6 months of woodworking, carpentry, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Comfortable using woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals. Strong attention to detail and ability to solve practical problems. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 100 lbs with team assistance or equipment. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying temperatures and weather conditions. Willingness to work around manufacturing equipment, moderate to loud noise, dust, and other industrial conditions. Commitment to following all company safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
