The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities. At Growing Together, we also offer Spanish Immersion for toddlers. Who You Are 18 years of age or older. Looking for a part-time job. Must be Spanish-speaking. Students pursuing ECE will also be considered; must have a minimum of 3 ECE units. Must provide references. Passing a background check that includes fingerprinting, a requirement of California regulations, and TB test clearance Must have current CPR and First Aid certification, including pediatric first aid. Excellent communication skills. Warm, caring, and patient. Cooking skills are a plus. Responsibilities Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a daycare setting. Ability to collaborate with staff effectively. Supervise children during program hours, including outdoor free time and nap time. Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Assist in food preparation, service, and cleanup. Actively participate in evacuation drills and provide support in emergency situations that may occur while on site as appropriate to training and/or experience.
