Assistant will support the development and well-being of children by working with in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help foster their growth, curiosity, and social skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist provider or in implementing daily activities which promote learning and development for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Assist and observe children during playtime, meal times, nap times, and educational activities to ensure their safety and comfort Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and shared spaces regularly Assist with observing children's progress, behaviors, and discuss any concerns with provider. Assist with preparing age-appropriate activities to encourage social interaction, creativity, and exploration. Assist with all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary Assistant Requires Previous experience working with children in daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred Basic Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification Pediatric First Aide and CPR i, Background Clearance, TB test, Mandated Reporter training and Childhood Immunization. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is desirable A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through caring guidance Mary"s Little Lambs Daycare is a home environment in which children thrive! to learn each and everyday. The days needed are Mondays and Wednesday s from 9 am to 1pm .
