In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere will help children build a strong foundation for their future growth. Duties Implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Engage in effective communication with parents to share updates on child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student assessments, and classroom activities Incorporate early education strategies and intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols while supervising children during all activities. Experience Early Childhood Education credentials is a must - atleast 12 credits. California Preschool Teacher Permit preferred. Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential, with demonstrated classroom management skills. Proven ability to develop age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical activity, and social skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom safety standards. Experience collaborating with parents and guardians to support each child's unique needs and progress. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws is highly desirable. Strong communication skills combined with the ability to foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are required.
