Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Support children during playtime, meals, naps, and other daily routines with patience and care Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom Ability to manage classroom dynamics with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and protection Embark on a fulfilling career where your passion for nurturing young minds can flourish!
