In this flexible itinerant role, you'll travel between campuses, collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists to ensure students with hearing challenges receive the best possible educational experience. You'll help shape their learning journeys, offering expertise and compassionate support in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active California Audiology license Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong knowledge of hearing loss assessments and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) Comfortable working with IEPs, IFSPs, and 504 plans Skilled in managing and troubleshooting HAT/FM systems and hearing aid devices Excellent communication and consultation abilities Able to work independently, manage time, and travel between school sites daily

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audiological assessments and generate detailed reports for students Participate in and support the development of individualized education and accommodation plans Serve as a resource for staff and families, providing guidance and training as needed Maintain, order, and troubleshoot hearing support equipment, ensuring optimal function for learning Advocate for students' needs within multidisciplinary educational teams Foster positive relationships with families, educators, and district administrators In return, youll be immersed in a collaborative, forward-thinking educational environment where your expertise is highly valued.
